So, some of you may have noticed that I've been on a bit of a hiatus. Lots of life changes on my end interrupted my flow just a tad. As such, my green beauty regimen suffered in a major way. I resorted to using make up brands with some of the worst ingredients and I'm scared to think of the practices used to produce them. The colors were amazing and the price was right, but I had to ask myself if it was really all worth it at the end of the day? The answer was a resounding no.
So confession time is over. I'm back and I started my new year out by replacing my existing beauty products with some better brands. I hit Sephora in search of new lipstick, eyeliner, fragrance and blush. (I'm looking for a great foundation that looks like Mac C3 but without all of the nasty, harmful ingredients). Now first, Sephora doesn't group all their "natural" products in stores the way they do online so I recommend going online to make a list of things you might like to try and taking that to the store so you can give them a test run.
I picked up Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush in Buff (I need to go back for Dollface); Tarte multiplEYE lash-enhancing liquid liner; Make Up Forever Rouge Artist Natural lipsticks in N37 (peach/coral) and N28 (fuscia) which are paraben-free; and Stella McCartney's Stella perfume- the only fragrance that seemed to fit my needs but I like it.
I haven't given these products a full wear yet but I will follow up with a review later.
