Beautiful Botanicals

Cargo nailed natural beauty right down to the packaging with the launch of their PlantLove cosmetics collection in September of 2008. Their existing 12 shades of lipstick comes in tubes made from corn-based plastics and the boxes they come in are embedded with wildflower seeds that you just moisten and plant!

The line consists of lipstick, lip liner, lip balm, pressed powder, loose powder foundation, illuminizer, bronzer, blush and lip gloss which are all free of parabens, phthalates, petro-chemicals, synthetic dyes and fragrances. Everything you need to keep you gorgeously green!

I tried Mariska warm nude lipstick designed by actress Mariska Hargitay ($20) and blush in Tulip ($28). The lipstick glides on smooth and feels great on my lips. The blush is light but has great pigment and is long-wearing. Love!

PlantLove is available at Sephora for $36 or less. $2 from the sale of each PlantLove lipstick goes to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Launched in Fall 2007, the contemporary collection is made up of lots of easy, eco-friendly wardrobe staples made from 100% organic cotton and bamboo fibers that are comfortable, flattering and beautiful.

The current collection includes some seriously sexy summer dresses and stylish tops. I've got my eye on the Sienna Dress above which is only $50! Toggery is available at Lux Green Living at prices ranging from $30 to $150,
